FAQ

Frequently asked questions about massage.
What to wear , what to do... etc

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable. Shorts or gym wear are ideal depending on the area being treated / type of session.

It is my first session. What will happen?

Magic ... I will explain everything in details before your treatment.

Can you help with my pain or injury?

In most cases, yes. For specific issues or injuries, book a soft tissue therapy session for full assessment and treatment rather than a general sports massage.

Is it going to hurt?

I will often ask you about how you feel so that is basically up to you. With tight muscles for the first treatment can feel more intense,  but it always should be a "good pain"

Do you treat chronic or medical conditions?

I can support with pain management and movement where appropriate. However, treatment may need to be adapted depending on your condition, and in some cases medical clearance is recommended before booking.

Can I ask you to avoid certain areas?

Absolutely. This is your session — just let me know, or include it in your pre-treatment form.

Is there any reason not to get a massage?

There are some contraindications.

Certain medical conditions may require caution. If you have a serious or ongoing health issue, it’s best to check with your GP before booking.

What should I do after the treatment?

Stay hydrated, keep movement light, and allow your body to recover. You may feel some soreness, which is normal.

Where can I park?

Parking is available next to the property (entrance via Burford Road).
Alternatively, there is a larger car park on Northolt Road, a 2-minute walk away.

What is the address?

You will see it in the confirmation email. Please check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it.

Where is my confirmation email?

Don't worry it is in your spam folder. If you have already checked your spam/promotion folder at least 3 times...Well, you are right something is wrong. Please contact me.

Does my health insurance cover this?

Some providers cover it as complementary treatments, but this varies. Please check directly with your insurer.

If you have any questions or concerns, please, do not hesitate to get in touch.
